Meet Tiffany, "Nurse Gert"

With over two decades of experience in maternal healthcare, I serve families as a holistic birth, postpartum, and monitrice doula, as well as a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery. My unique approach blends clinical expertise with deeply intuitive, spiritual, and emotional care to honor the full birthing journey—from conception to postpartum restoration.

Formerly a labor and delivery nurse who is licensed to practice in 42 states, I witnessed the gaps in modern maternity care, especially for Black and Brown birthing people. My path as a doula was born from a desire to fill those gaps with compassion, advocacy, cultural understanding, and evidence-based care.

As a monitrice, I provide advanced support during labor, including fetal monitoring and maternal assessments, helping families navigate the transition from home to hospital with confidence and clarity. I specialize in maternal early warning signs, trauma-informed support, and birth plan advocacy. I also provide gentle guidance during the sacred postpartum window with nourishing care that supports physical healing, emotional processing, and newborn adjustment.
