Meet Shantel

Hello, I am Shantel Winford! I am a Louisiana born, Texas-based certified birth/postpartum Doula,
professional nanny, and proud mother to an adult son. With deep roots in childcare and early education, my journey began in the school system where I dedicated myself to supporting young children and their families. After praying for direction God led me to birth work and in July 2023 I trained with BEST Doula Training. Gaining essential knowledge in birth, postpartum care, and business management.

In October 2024, I joined the Bee the Doula Mentee Program, learning from incredible Bee the Doula
herself. This hands-on mentorship has been transformative, offering me a wealth of knowledge about birth, postpartum care, and family support that I bring to each family I serve. I am also CPR and First aid certified, bringing a holistic, informed approach to my work.
Driven by a calling to serve, I am here to support and empower birthing mothers and their families
through the beautiful life-changing journey of childbirth and 4 th trimester! My goal is to provide
compassionate support, evidence-based guidance, comfort, and resources, creating a nurturing
experience for the entire family.

My hope is to be a source of strength and reassurance through Birthing Hope Doula Services,
empowering families to embrace each moment of this transformative journey with confidence, peace, and joy.
