My Bio

Greetings, 

My name is Cheryl Thomas, I was born and raised in Houston, Tx. In 1990, I married the love of my life Kenny who is my greatest support.  

I am certified as a birth and postpartum doula, also specializing in newborn childcare. 

My passion for doing this “heart work” began many years ago after giving birth to my 3 sons within 4 yrs. Unfortunately, I had to have C-sections with all of them, but the blessing for me and my family was that my mother was there each time for at least a week. Without her support, the task of mothering and caring for myself would have been difficult. My husband helped tremendously but had to continue working and wasn’t always available physically. My mother being there in our home, allowed me to rest, relax, reset, and BREATHE. Her wisdom, emotional support, and caring for my kids and household were valuable assets that I couldn’t put a price on. 

My mother would be so proud to see me now passing it forward and blessing other moms and families with this gift of love and compassion through doula care and support.
